A re-invention of the Magic Lantern Projector and the medium of the Shadow-Cut Painted Slide.

In the studio, magic lanterns I have built (Opus 1, 2, 3, 4), working maquettes, and re-built magic lanterns from the 1940s. Magic lantern slides made of paper, card, glass, ink, watercolour.
